Every job gets a fixed written quote before work starts, and the price includes materials, labour, testing and NICEIC certification. The same prices apply across Poole, Bournemouth and the rest of East Dorset, with no per-mile surcharge.

Fuse box, fuse board and consumer unit are three names for the same board. Prices are fully fitted and include a metal-enclosed RCBO board, the full test schedule, the NICEIC certificate and Building Control notification.

Mostly we work on fixed written quotes rather than hourly billing. Small jobs such as an extra socket or an LED downlight start from £65 including materials and testing, so you know the full price before we arrive. Hourly rates apply only to fault-finding and emergency callouts: £55 an hour domestic and £75 an hour commercial after the first hour, with emergency callouts from £150 including that first hour.
Not for planned work. The price we quote is the whole price, from £65 for the smallest jobs. Emergency callouts are from £150 in the daytime, £180 in the evening and at weekends, and £200 on bank holidays. Each includes the first hour on site.
An additional socket is from £65 supplied and fitted, including testing and certification. Moving a socket or adding a USB socket is priced the same way. If several sockets are done on one visit we quote the job as a whole, which usually works out cheaper.
Materials, labour, testing and NICEIC certification. Where the work is notifiable under Part P, we also notify Building Control through the NICEIC competent-person scheme. Every job gets a written quote before work begins, and there are no hidden costs.
No. The same fixed prices apply across Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown, Wareham, Ringwood and the surrounding villages, with no per-mile surcharge. We are based in Creekmoor (BH17), so Poole surveys are usually same-week.
