Frequently Asked Questions
A standard installation takes 3–4 hours. If we need to run longer cable routes or upgrade your consumer unit, it may take a full day. We’ll confirm the timeframe at the survey stage.
Yes. All EV chargers require a dedicated circuit from your consumer unit — this is included in our installation price. We’ll check your consumer unit has capacity and upgrade if needed.
The OZEV grant (formerly OLEV) is subject to change by the government. Where available, it can provide up to £350 towards installation costs. We handle all grant paperwork on your behalf and will advise on current eligibility.
Yes! The Zappi charger has a dedicated solar divert mode that uses excess solar energy to charge your car for free. We can also set up other chargers with smart scheduling to coincide with peak solar generation times.
We install both single-phase (7.4kW) and three-phase (22kW) chargers. Three-phase is faster but requires a three-phase electricity supply — most homes have single-phase. We’ll check your supply during the survey.
Yes. All the chargers we install are rated for outdoor use (IP65 or higher). We can mount on exterior walls, in garages, car ports, or on free-standing posts. Cable management is kept tidy with conduit where needed.
